Outstanding teams will be invited to peform in one of the main items at the Chingay Parade of DreamS happening on 23 and 24 Feburary 2007.
All teams will also have the privilege of attending FREE Hip Hop workshops conducted by a renowned dance instructor from South Korea.
There are two categories in this competition:
Open category is open to 13 to 35 years
Under 18 category is open to 17 years and below

One of
the highlights in Chingay 2007 main parade programme where 12 P65
MPs, led by Mr Teo Ser Luck, Parlimentary Secretary, Ministry of
Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS), will perform Hip
Hop dance with 300 dancers!
In this three-minute item, an 18m long float will sashay down the parade route accompanied by five trishaws. 300 outstanding Hip Hop dancers will surround the float and trishaws and break into a funky Hip Hop dance alongside the 12 P65 MPs. The MPs will perform one-minute Hip Hop choreography in this item and will distribute sweets to the audience and guests.
Led by Mr Teo Ser Luck, Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports, and Member of Parliament for Pasir Ris-Punggol Group Representation Constituency (GRC). The other participating MPs are:

This Hip Hop item will be one of the main parade programme highlights where 12 P65 MPs, together with 300 outstanding youthful Hip Hop dancers, will practise together to put up an energetic Hip Hop dance. These 300 youth are outstanding dancers and winners from PULSE HIP HIP KNOCK-OUT, a Hip Hop competition leading-up to Chingay Parade of DreamS 2007
